Piute had to settle for second on Friday, but Blake Dalton sure wasn't going down easily. Dalton was unstoppable, striking out eight batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
