Meanwhile, Heritage Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. Their rough 64-41 defeat to Cornerstone Family might stick with them for a while. Heritage Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-19.
Whitefield Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Heritage Christian, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Whitefield Academy strolled past Heritage Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 61-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Whitefield Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
