After having lost a blowout in their game last week, Minneola were happy to find some success on Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Chase as the squad secured a 48-0 win. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (42) and coasted on those for the victory.
Senior Jeremy Pfaff, who rushed for 233 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in Minneola's success. In fact, with 11 tackles Pfaff was a force on both sides of the ball. Freshman Brayton Dewell was in the mix, too, providing Minneola with 2 touchdowns.
Next week Minneola take on Ingalls at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: these teams both put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Chase, they will face off against Otis-Bison. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
