Christopher lost to Ann Sobrato  back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  win over the Bulldogs. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Cougars.
 The  victory didn't come easy: Ann Sobrato scored at least 13 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 24-26, 22-25,  15-13.
Christopher can attribute much of their success to  Juliet Tassio, who  had 11  digs and two  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: Christopher  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 14  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least nine  aces in seven consecutive  matches.
 Despite the  defeat, Ann Sobrato saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Madeline Blair  had 16  digs and two  assists. Blair has been hot recently, having  posted 14 or more  digs the last three times she's  played.
The  win  got Christopher back to even at 11-11. As for Ann Sobrato, their loss was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 14-18.
 Christopher does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ann Sobrato, they will venture away from home to  face off against Rancho San Juan  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
