The Brookwood Panthers suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against McAdory, falling 86-38. Brookwood was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-18.
Brookwood's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Joseph Mayo, who scored ten points, and Leland Foster who scored 12 points.
Brookwood has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season. As for McAdory, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-8.
Brookwood will head out on the road to challenge Bessemer City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bessemer City comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for McAdory, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Hueytown at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
