The Nanih Waiya Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season. They breezed by Velma Jackson on the road to the tune of 64-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Nanih Waiya.
Nyshea Hoskin was her usual excellent self, scoring 40 points. The match was her 15th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexzandria Eiland, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Nanih Waiya pushed their record up to 13-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.9 points per game. As for Velma Jackson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nanih Waiya will square off against French Camp Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. French Camp Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Velma Jackson, they will head out on the road to face off against McAdams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
