The biggest upset of the week belonged to Surry County, who took down 279th ranked Lancaster, 76-64.
Strasburg extended the longest winning streak in A Eastern this week by beating Monroe, 61-40. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Rams.
Ryheem Lockley was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 144 yards on 11 carries as Middlesex lost to Franklin. Teammate JD Diggs added to the ground attack by rushing for 24 yards.
James Graves put up the best numbers through the air as Madison County beat Mason. He finished with a total of eight completions for 144 yards and two touchdowns. Graves' favorite target this week was Ashton Weakley, who caught three passes for 61 yards.
Kennedy Greene made the biggest impact on defense this week as Charles City bested Northumberland. The 5-foot-11 senior racked up two sacks.
Hatcher was the best wideout in the league this week as the Pointers lost to the Broncos. Hatcher racked up five receptions for 70 yards. Edgar "L.A." Allen helped West Point's passing attack out by catching three balls for 62 yards.
Jovan Howard provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Panthers beat the Indians. He completed six passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 89 yards. Howard's favorite target this week was Jaelan Cotman, who caught one pass for 46 yards.
West Point's Robert "Mikey" Anerton and Hatcher have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading A Eastern in both passing and receiving yards. Anerton has thrown for 1099 yards this season, while Hatcher, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 25 catches for 424 yards. Nottoway's Tre Burtt leads the league in rushing yards with 750.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Washington & Lee takes on the Red Devils. The Eagles are in 13th place, while Lancaster is in 18th place.
Manassas Park moved up to 177 from 203 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Cougars were able to make the jump by beating Woodstock Central 21-14.
