Ava Boots was the offensive standout of the game as she scored nine points along with four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for her. Mckinlee Kain was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, West Noble's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 49-25 walloping at the hands of Central Noble. West Noble has struggled against Central Noble recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Alexia Mast was West Noble's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Mast also led the team in assists with three. She held things down on the boards with five rebounds.
Prairie Heights' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7. As for West Noble, their defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-11.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Prairie Heights have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 25.2 rebounds per game. It's a different story for West Noble, though, as they've been averaging only 23.6 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
