On Saturday Moundridge's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Central Christian Academy Lions. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Moundridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Moundridge's win bumped their record up to 20-0. As for Central Christian Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.

Moundridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Halstead on the 20th. As for Central Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Marion on the 20th.
