The CHARGERS were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vandals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miami to victory, but perhaps none more so than Deray Mathis, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. Mathis is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last 23 games he's played. Another player making a difference was John McGoughey, who posted 17 points and three steals.
Arete Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Miami, their record is now 17-13.
