Central Davidson strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They enjoyed a cozy 70-56 win over the North Davidson Black Knights. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Spartans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Black Knights are ranked 485th).

Despite the loss, North Davidson still got an impressive performance from Coen Miller, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Spencer Berrier, who posted 13 points.

Central Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for North Davidson, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
