The Atlas HomeSchool Rattlers will take on the Bishop Dunne Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Dunne took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Atlas HomeSchool, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, Atlas HomeSchool beat John Paul II 34-21. The Rattlers pushed the score to 34-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cardinals cut but never quite recovered from.

Atlas HomeSchool's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Davis, who rushed for 178 yards on only 15 carries. That's the most rushing yards Davis has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Stewart, who rushed for 96 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Atlas HomeSchool was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 423 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 157 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Atlas HomeSchool's defense and their five sacks. Tobias Miller was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last three games he's played. Timmy Thames was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble, making 12 total tackles (1.0 for loss), and defending three passes.
Meanwhile, Bishop Dunne played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 49-6 loss at the hands of Regents. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-0.
Atlas HomeSchool's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Bishop Dunne, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
Atlas HomeSchool came out on top in a nail-biter against Bishop Dunne when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 29-26. Do the Rattlers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
