It was a good run, but the Englewood Pirates unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 54-43 to Bennett. Englewood lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jonae Harris, who scored 15 points along with four steals. Jaliyah Mora was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
Bennett was led to victory by Lily Venneberg and Jessica Venneberg.
