On the hitting side, Sandy let Kobe Sparks and Cooper Hibbs run wild. Sparks went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI, while Hibbs went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Cal Green, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

David Douglas suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Sandy in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Can the Scots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
