Mary Bortels continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Stony Point, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Bortels is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Naomi Ofunrein was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with four steals.
McNeil has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Stony Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.
McNeil will head out on the road to square off against Cedar Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
