Wyalusing Valley waltzed into their match  on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Cowanesque Valley Indians as they made off with  a  3-0 win. The Rams were shut out  3-0 the last time they took on the Indians, so the Rams were just returning the favor.
 One reason for the win was Wyalusing Valley's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14,  25-10.
Their offense was headlined by  Jalynn Herda and  Addison Fluck, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from  Josie Ferris and her 17 assists.  Alyssa Neagle controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
Wyalusing Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Cowanesque Valley,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wyalusing Valley will  face off against  rival Williamson  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cowanesque Valley is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Sayre  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
