Lincoln Park Academy came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Westwood Panthers 74-19. The Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Lincoln Park Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Juliana Ball led the charge by going 7 for 11 en route to 23 points. The dominant performance gave Ball a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Laylah Dawkins, who went 5 of 8 to rack up 14 points along with seven assists and four steals.

Despite the defeat, Westwood saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bryanna Gore posted six points and six boards.

Lincoln Park Academy pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Westwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Lincoln Park Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-10 victory against Frostproof on the 6th. As for Westwood, they have also already played their next contest, a 48-47 win against Melbourne on the 4th.
