Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Land O' Lakes Christian walked away with it. They blew past the Lions 58-29 on the road on Thursday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Land O' Lakes Christian had established a 27 point advantage.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shemias Williams, who scored seven points. Another player making a difference was Meghan Nelson, who scored six points.
Land O' Lakes Christian's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Liberty Christian Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
Land O' Lakes Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Liberty Christian Prep also has no future games currently scheduled.
