Pittsburg won the last time they faced Independence and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Dragons sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Pittsburg's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Independence, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.

Pittsburg has already played their next game (against Kapaun Mt. Carmel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Independence will be paying especially close attention to the Dragons' contest: after the Dragons face off against Andover, they'll take on Independence again on Monday.
