Cornerstone Christian Academy were the 69-53 winner over the True North Knights when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cornerstone Christian Academy has scored all season.
True North got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was JC Coggins out in front who scored six points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aiden Parks, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Cornerstone Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for True North, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. True North will be home for the holidays to greet Kingwood Christian Life Center Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
