After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Combine Academy National, Lincoln Charter was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They really took it to the Langtree Charter Academy Lions for the full four quarters, racking up an 83-31 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mckennon Showers, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points in addition to five assists and four steals. The dominant performance gave Showers a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was David Reed IV, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Showers wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Lincoln Charter was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Langtree Charter Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Martynas Petrauskas, who posted seven points and five boards.
