The Decatur Bulldogs entered their tilt with the M.L. King Lions with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Decatur strolled past M.L. King with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 24-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Decatur also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Decatur found their leader in underclassman Darius White, who rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns. Tre'vyon Webb made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for M.L. King, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
Decatur will head out on the road to face off against Ware County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ware County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Decatur in Georgia (Ware County is ranked 35th, while Decatur is ranked 213th). M.L. King does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
