The Miyamura Patriots were the 50-0 winner over the Highland Hornets when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Miyamura took a hard 43-24 fall against Highland on Saturday. Miyamura's loss continues a unfortunate trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Amiri Mumba was his usual excellent self, rushing for 303 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Mumba hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games.
Miyamura's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Highland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Miyamura does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Highland also has no future games currently scheduled.
