Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scituate). They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 35-6 win over Juanita Sanchez Complex. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Spartans with their most commanding win of the season.
Scituate's win came from a few key players Davies Career & Tech will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Drake Dumont, who rushed for 59 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up 0.5 sacks and made six total tackles (1.0 for loss). Another signal caller making a difference was Aiden Grover, who threw for 229 yards and three TDs on perfect 7-for-7 passing.
Scituate's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB 4.5 times. Dominic Tosoni refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.
