Meanwhile, Mount Abram strolled past the Phoenix with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 60-46. Given Mount Abram's advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Phoenix are ranked 42nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Boothbay's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Mount Abram, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
