Redbank Valley had lost four games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 6-3 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Brockway Rovers by a score of 6-1. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Mackenzie Foringer made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs.
In other batting news, Bella Orr was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024.
