After a string of three wins, the Paideia Pythons's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 57-49 to Chamblee. Paideia lost against Chamblee in their previous head to head back in November of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 41-39 score last time.
Chamblee got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mackenzie Lewis out in front who scored 21 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Brianna Wood, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Paideia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Chamblee, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Paideia will be playing in front of their home fans against South Gwinnett at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. South Gwinnett is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Chamblee, they will head out on the road to face off against McNair at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McNair is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
