Allegheny Mountain - Northern recap September 24, 2013
Coudersport scaled the state rankings by moving to 333 from 422 this week, the biggest jump in Allegheny Mountain - Northern. The Falcons climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Port Allegany 35-16.
The Gators' dynamic duo of Jordan Seefeldt and Cory Burr proved to be unstoppable against Coudersport, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Seefeldt threw for 366 yards and 2 touchdowns and Burr had 266 yards receiving. Chad Gaines helped Port Allegany's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 77 yards.
Port Allegany's dynamic duo of Seefeldt and Burr proved tough for Chris Fink's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
He went 20-34 with 2 interceptions.
Coy Hoffman was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 13 carries, he ran for 133 yards as the Falcons fell to the Falcons. Zac Elenchin also contributed to the rushing game with 58 yards on the ground.
Seefeldt put up the best numbers through the air as the Gators lost to Coudersport.

Port Allegany's Seefeldt and Burr have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Allegheny Mountain - Northern in both passing and receiving yards. Seefeldt has thrown for 622 yards this season, while Burr, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 21 catches for 385 yards. Sam Colebert from Otto-Eldred leads the league in rushing with 398 yards.
As it stands, the Falcons are in first, while Sheffield is in third.
Smethport led the league in scoring this week after putting up 40 points on the Terrors.
