Ocean Lakes's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. They never let the Tallwood Lions get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The Dolphins haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Ocean Lakes' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Tallwood, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ocean Lakes will head out to challenge Kempsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chiefs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Dolphins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tallwood, they will head out on the road to square off against Princess Anne at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
