After flying high against Quitman  last Saturday, Stringer came back down to earth. The Stringer Red Devils took  a  5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers on Monday. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their  loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting  back in March of 2018.
Stringer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Southeast Lauderdale, the  win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.
 Coming up, Stringer will welcome Lamar  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Lamar is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3  runs per game  this season. As for Southeast Lauderdale, they will square off against Union at 1:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
