Edison has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Sapulpa Chieftains at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Sapulpa took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Edison, who comes in off a win.
Edison stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Coweta as Edison made off with a 62-41 victory. That's two games straight that Edison has won by exactly 21 points.
Meanwhile, Sapulpa came up short against Memorial on Tuesday and fell 59-51.
Edison pushed their record up to 15-6 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Sapulpa, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
Edison took their victory against Sapulpa when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 68-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Edison since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
