West Jersey - Patriot recap October 22, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in West Jersey - Patriot this week, Lawrence beat Hightstown 82-41. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Northern Burlington moved up to 106 from 141 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Greyhounds climbed the ranks as a result of topping Rancocas Valley 14-13.
Quincey Lambert was the best running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 81 yards as Pemberton lost to Nottingham. Teammate Jaquan Pitts added to the ground attack by rushing for 29 yards.
Pemberton's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dennis Clark has thrown for 728 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Foman has 11 catches for 213 yards.
A big matchup in West Jersey - Patriot this week will be when Burlington Township takes on Princeton. The Falcons are currently in third, while the Tigers are in sixth.
Lawrence took down the Rams 82-41 last week, the largest margin of any game.
