Van put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They never let the Brownsboro Bears get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Vandals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Van's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Brownsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-2.

Coincidentally, Van and Brownsboro will both be playing Athens the next time they take the field. Brownsboro will host Athens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Van will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
