It was a good run, but the Taylorsville Warriors unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to Kearns 52-48. Taylorsville has not had much luck with Kearns recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Taylorsville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Bertagnolli, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Bronson Dallimore, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Taylorsville struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Taylorsville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Kearns, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.
Taylorsville will take on Hunter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Hunter is ranked 76th, while Taylorsville is ranked 91st). As for Kearns, they will head out on the road to face off against Park City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
