Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paxon School For Advanced Studies). They blew past the KIPP Bold City Greyhounds, posting a 73-17 win. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season.

Paxon School For Advanced Studies' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caelyn Carter led the charge by going 8 of 14 on her way to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Young, who posted 11 points and five steals.

Paxon School For Advanced Studies smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive matchups.

Several Greyhounds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Madison Mitchell, who had five points. That's the most points Mitchell has posted since back in December of 2023.

Paxon School For Advanced Studies is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for KIPP Bold City, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
