On Friday, the Sioux County Warriors strolled past the Leyton Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 46-31. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sioux County.
Jack Hunter went supernova for Sioux County, rushing for 199 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry, and also catching a touchdown. Sioux County's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Leyton, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Sioux County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Potter-Dix at 12:00 p.m. on September 20th. As for Leyton, they will venture away from home to challenge Crawford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Leyton focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Friday.
