The Evergreen Cougars's three-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Alameda 50-13 on the road. That 37 points margin sets a new team best for Evergreen this season.
Leading Evergreen to victory were Taylor Bailey and Ryn Gardner. Bailey scored 12 points along with three steals, while Gardner scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gardner has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tatum Buenning, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and five assists.
Evergreen's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Alameda, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Evergreen will look to defend their home court on Friday against Dakota Ridge at 6:00 p.m. Dakota Ridge will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Alameda, they will head out on the road to square off against Golden at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Golden presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Alameda in Colorado (Golden is ranked 132nd, while Alameda is ranked 300th).
