The Attica Red Ramblers came into Saturday's matchup having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Indiana School for the Deaf by a score of 52-42 on Saturday. The victory was just what Attica needed coming off of a 65-24 defeat in their prior game.
Despite the loss, Indiana School for the Deaf still got an impressive performance from Dylan Puent, who scored 23 points. That was a full 54.8% of Indiana School for the Deaf's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Anthony Silvay was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Attica's victory ended a 20-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-17. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Attica will take on Frontier at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Attica is coming into the matchup with six straight wins at home, so Frontier is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Indiana School for the Deaf will take on KIPP Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
