The Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 67-48 fall against Silverdale Academy. While losing is never fun, Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 351st, while Silverdale Academy is ranked 23rd).
Silverdale Academy was led to victory by Brett Wright and Houston Holland. Wright scored 14 points, while Holland scored 16 points. The matchup was Wright's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Elyjah Richardson, who scored nine points.
Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Silverdale Academy, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.
Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' road trip will continue as they head out to face Loudon at 2:30 p.m. on December 30th. Loudon is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Silverdale Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Valor College Prep at 11:30 a.m. on December 30th.
