Bergen Tech has gone 8-2 against Eastside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Ghosts at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bergen Tech has five straight victories, Eastside has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Bergen Tech lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Pascack Hills, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's matchup. The Knights were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Cowboys on Saturday.

Alvin Li made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joe D'Amico, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. He has become a key player for Bergen Tech: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jalen Hall, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Bergen Tech kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 8.8.
Meanwhile, Eastside came up short against West Milford on Friday, falling 10-3.
Dominick Cruz made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Bergen Tech now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Eastside, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bergen Tech has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Eastside struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Bergen Tech couldn't quite get it done against Eastside in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 11-7. Will the Knights have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
