The Amistad Wolves lost against the Law Lawmen back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Amistad fell to Law 43-38. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Amistad in their matchups with Law: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Amistad still got an impressive performance from LaShaya Patterson, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Patterson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnae McFadden, who scored four points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Amistad now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Law, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 7-8.
Amistad will head out on the road to square off against Whitney RVT at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Law, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Guilford is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
