The Lyman Eagles won the last time they faced the Evanston Devils, and things went their way on Friday too. Lyman walked away with a 41-28 victory over Evanston. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lyman.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lyman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Payton Anderson, who scored 11 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was BriLee Bradshaw, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Lyman is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Evanston, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyman will take on Mountain View at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mountain View is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games. As for Evanston, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Star Valley at 6:00 p.m.
