With a playoff game on the line, the Victoria Cobra HomeSchool Cobra rose to the challenge on Saturday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 53-8 win over Jubilee. Victoria Cobra HomeSchool's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Victoria Cobra HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Phoenix Robertson , who rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. Robertson was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards. Another player making a difference was Luke Briscoe, who gained 100 total yards and two touchdowns.
Victoria Cobra HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Jubilee, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Victoria Cobra HomeSchool is on the road again on Friday and play against Bastrop. Bastrop will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. Jubilee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
