Cumberland County has been on the road for six straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Stone Memorial Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cumberland County is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Stone Memorial in Tennessee (Cumberland County is ranked 23rd, while Stone Memorial is ranked 94th).
Cumberland County pushed their score all the way to 61 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 71-61 to White County.
Stone Memorial posted their closest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past White County 51-48.
Cumberland County's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for Stone Memorial, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.
Everything went Cumberland County's way against Stone Memorial in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as Cumberland County made off with a 63-38 win.
