Lone Pine hadn't done well against Mojave recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Lone Pine Golden Eagles breezed by the Mojave Mustangs to the tune of 62-22. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 27 points or more this season.

Lone Pine found their leader in sophomore Cristian Duran, who posted 11 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Tommy Fogerty, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.

Lone Pine is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Mojave, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Lone Pine will challenge Mineral County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lone Pine is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season. As for Mojave, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-35 defeat against Big Pine on the 13th.
