Donahue Catholic won the last time they faced Marco Island Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Donahue Catholic Shamrocks had just enough and edged the Marco Island Academy Rays out 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Shamrocks sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Paul Jahnke and Mattew Misek scored both of Donahue Catholic's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Donahue Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Marco Island Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing The Village School of Naples the next time they take the pitch. Donahue Catholic will head out to face The Village School of Naples at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Marco Island Academy will host them at 4:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
