The Hapeville Charter Hornets waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 68-60 victory over Stephenson. That's two games straight that Hapeville Charter has won by exactly eight points.
It was another big night for Jonathan Goldson, who scored 31 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. He hasn't dropped below 15 points for 13 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Keith Parker, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds.
The victory got Hapeville Charter back to even at 10-10. As for Stephenson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
Hapeville Charter will head out on the road to challenge Forest Park at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Forest Park is out to stop a nine-game streak of losses at home. Stephenson will take on Miller Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
