The Cypress Creek Coyotes will face off against the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Cypress Creek is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home  on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand King  a   17-0 shutout.
 Emily Bowling made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Bowling was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 In other pitching news,  Makayla Trianni looked comfortable as she  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 Back at the plate, Cypress Creek let  Lindsey Bowling and  Brianna Aguay loose on the outfield. Bowling  went a perfect2-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI, while  Aguay  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. Those two  RBI gave  Bowling a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Oakley Riley, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Academy at the Lakes had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Anclote 16-0.
 Cypress Creek beat Academy at the Lakes 8-5  in their previous matchup  back in February of 2023. Will Cypress Creek repeat their success,  or does  Academy at the Lakes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
