After two weeks on the road, Waldport is heading back home. On Thursday they take on Falls City/Kings Valley Charter at 7:00 PM. The odds don't look promising for Waldport, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
Things haven't been easy for Waldport, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They were completely outmatched, falling 12-70 to St. Paul.
Meanwhile, Falls City/Kings Valley Charter took an ego-bruising defeat against Wallowa two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Falls City/Kings Valley Charter walked away with a 34-22 win over Siletz Valley.
Falls City/Kings Valley Charter's victory lifted them to 3-3 while Waldport's loss dropped them down to 1-5. We'll find out if Falls City/Kings Valley Charter can add another positive mark to their record or if Waldport can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Falls City/Kings Valley Charter's step.
