There's no place like home for the Wheat Ridge Farmers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 39-28 victory over Conifer on Monday. That's another feather in the cap for Wheat Ridge, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Conifer's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Megan Swearengin, who scored ten points, and Eleanor Sikora who scored seven points.
Wheat Ridge's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Conifer, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Pomona the next time they take the court. Conifer will host Pomona at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Wheat Ridge will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
